Thanking Every Hometown Hero
11/11/13 – 5th Annual Veterans Day Commemoration at Bartlett Pond Park. It was a chilly, colorful and beautiful day. T433 scouts and families presented the colors. Longwood Veteran Casey Wall, a Purple Heart recipient, unveiled the new USPS stamp honoring the Medal of Honor. We paid tribute to three recently departed Longwood firefighters and placed wreaths of remembrance at all the granite monuments. Most importantly, we recognized and said “Thank You” to all veterans and active military, calling forward those present to receive the warm appreciation of our grateful community.
