Since its founding in 1995 by Connie Kepert and the late Bruce Dickter, The Longwood Alliance has pursued a variety of projects consistent with improving the lives of Longwood residents while utilizing the amazing powers of VOLUNTEERISM!
We started Longwood Day, the annual celebration of our schools and community now hosted by Longwood PTA Council each May. Initially held at Cathedral Pines Park, this event was moved to Longwood High School to provide protection from inclement weather and allow residents to see firsthand the best of their school tax dollars at work. It features a showcase of student art work and a day-long series of concerts in our state-of-the-art auditorium, as well as numerous vendor booths displaying local interests, colorful crafts and delicious food.
