Master Gardener Elizabeth Takakjian of Cornell Cooperative Extension will be updating current and future members of the Longwood Victory Garden. This new community garden, located at Bartlett Pond Park, was established late last summer. Raised garden beds are still available for adoption this spring.
Our one hour presentation, beginning at 6:00pm on February 20th, will be held just prior to the MI Civic meeting and in the same meeting room in the MI Fire Department Headquarters on Arnold Drive. We will work on a garden mission statement and wording for our garden sign, as well as do some “winter sowing.” Should be a fun time with an eye toward spring!
